Personal iPhone enrolled in Apple School or Business account

my phones says I have screen time restrictions active on my phone I can’t change settings and can’t create emoji , change my profile picture ,edit my contacts etc and under I tried to log in to apple school or bussiness account just to see if I was enrolled and says The account being signed-in to already exists and cannot be used again.i have a personal phone I never added my account or device

how do I remove it help I don’t have total control over my device :(

Only the school or business can remove the device.

Did you purchase this phone used, if you did contact the person you bought it from.

That iPhone is not enrolled with a business or institution.


As for the reported screen time limitations, if Focus or Parental Controls are enabled, shut it all off, and check again.

This device does not appear to be managed based on this screen. The error you see is a poorly worded error. It does not mean that the device is managed. If you see profiles in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, then your device MAY be managed, depending on the profiles installed.


Feedback has been given to Apple repeatedly about this error causing confusion, but it still is the same.
