If your name and emoji (or profile image) aren't appearing correctly in the iCloud section of your iPhone gallery, it usually means there's a small issue with your Apple ID settings or syncing.
Here's how you can quickly fix this:
First, double-check your Apple ID profile. Open Settings, tap your name at the top, and make sure all your personal details like your name and email address are correctly entered. Also, tap your profile icon at the top and verify that your emoji or Memoji is properly selected.
Next, refresh your iCloud Photos syncing. Go to Settings, tap your name, select iCloud, and then choose Photos. Turn iCloud Photos off, wait around 30 seconds, then turn it back on. This helps your phone sync correctly with iCloud again.
If this doesn't fix it, try restarting your phone. Press and hold the side button and one of the volume buttons until the slider appears, then turn your phone off and back on again after about 30 seconds. This clears up many minor syncing problems.
If you're still having trouble, signing out and back into iCloud usually helps. Go to Settings, tap your name, scroll down, and select Sign Out. You’ll need your Apple ID password. After signing out, restart your phone and sign back into your Apple ID. This can fix more stubborn issues.
Lastly, make sure your phone’s software is up to date by checking Settings > General > Software Update. Sometimes software updates fix issues like this.
If none of these steps work, it might just be a temporary glitch on Apple's servers. Usually, giving it some time (a few hours) and checking again solves the problem. If it continues, contacting Apple Support directly can help resolve account-specific issues.
