Hi,

I suppose if your MacBook is stuck on a world map screen, it would means your MacBook is attempting to start up from a network startup drive, possibly due to a problem with your MacBook HDD/SSD or a network issue. To resolve this, you should try to start up in Recovery Mode for repair your drive or reinstall macOS or check your Internet connection.
