In Mail on my iPad I click on a link in a newsletter, it opens the app but not the article.

Here is what I’ve tried. Rebooted. Clicking on link the first time it worked correctly. The second time it opened the app but not the article.

Next I deleted the app and downloaded it. Same problem worked the first time but not the second time. My software is up to date iOS 18.5.
