iPads running apple silicon or the latest iOS restart randomly, like on this thread:


iPad Pro 2024 M4 Restarts Randomly - Apple Community



This has been happening for multiple iOS versions, multiple accounts and multiple hardware devices.


Hardware/Software in question: ios 18 (all updates), iPad Pro 12.9 M1, iPad Mini A17, iPad Pro 13” M4


ALL IPADS have different restores and different apple accounts! The lock screen will say the ipad restarted and there is nothing i can do to stop it.

You might be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.


Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
