Record enable issue with new tracks in existing groups on Logic Pro

If I have an existing group, any new tracks I add to it do not follow the record enable command. In other words, If I record enable the new track, it doesn't trigger record enable on the existing grouped tracks, and vice versa. Please help. This issue is driving me crazy.

That's not the issue. I should have explained better. When I create a group (Drums), I select record as one of the linked features between all tracks in the group. So that if I hit record on say, my bass drum track, all other tracks in the group go into record. Once the group is created, if I need to add a new track to the group (like if I need an extra room mic), that new track will not go into record along with the rest. I have to manually enable record on the newly created track that I just added to the group. I've tried everything I can think of to no avail. I've deleted the group and created a new one adding all the tracks at once, but Logic seems to remember that that last track I created was not part of the original group and it behaves exactly the same way it did with the original group. It's just baffling to me!
