Apple Card Goldman Sachs Locked My Account

I noticed that my account was locked. When I contacted Apple Card Support they said “I” reported that I was in bankruptcy. I told them I did not report this information and it was an error on their part. They stated that they would submit a request for the removal of the bankruptcy and it would take 30 days for it to be taken off. They said I would be notified by email regarding the update on my account. I told the “supervisor” that this would be unacceptable and I wanted to receive recordings or documentation to support their actions. They refused to provide the information or escalate the matter to someone that could assist me.

I have tried to find a Consumer Complaint contact within their Legal Department. No luck at this time. Any help in making this contact would be appreciated.

I would recommend checking your credit report from the 3 major companies for any unusual activity.

  • TransUnion
  • Equifax
  • Experian

As for filing a complaint about Goldman Sachs, that is done with the CFPB. It is a government agency tasked with resolving issues with financial institutions and claims to provide a response for most complaints within 15 days.

Sorry but we are just fellow users.

Additionally, Apple won’t get involved as it’s an entirely private financial matter between you and Goldman Sachs.

You can submit a complaint here (although they were recently DOGE’d):

Suggest also that you obtain copies of your CRA credit reports soonest. Any actions you might need to take will be dependent on what those reports might reveal.
