How to use Siri to translate. Siri informs the user to open the Sequoia translator that does nothing.

Here is an example of trying to use Siri on a Mac (Sequoia 15.5) to translate. It says to open Sequoia translator which does not appear to exist. Clicking on "Open Sequoia Translator" does absolutely nothing. Does Sequoia Translator even exist?

Wondering if you have the latest Sequoia update installed on your Mac, and whether or not that may make any difference: What's new in the updates for macOS Sequoia - Apple Support says macOS Sequoia 15.5

and

"This update includes enhancements, bug fixes, and security updates for your Mac."

(NB: Please remember to back-up your data if updating MacOS)

Seems no-one here has any more know-how on this than you do. (We are all Apple users, like yourself, in the community. We can not speak for Apple, or speculate on what they may or may not do up ahead.)

If you'd like more info. on the availability of the SequoiaTranslator app, you may want to use online chat, phone or email to contact the experts at Apple Support:

Eg: There's a "Get support - start now" link (or an app you can download) on their website: Official Apple Support
