Disable ALL Touch Input (Not Just Specific Apps with Guided Access)

Hello,

I've broken my phone screen and am experiencing repeated "ghost touches" in rapid succession along the bottom 25% of my screen. This is a nightmare as it is rapidly opening apps, switching back an forth between them, typing out text messages, etc. (Please do not advise that I replace the screen, as that is not an option for me at this time. I have already ordered a replacement phone through AppleCare, but while I wait for it to arrive, I NEED to be able to use my phone for things like logging medications, important phone calls, etc., and ultimately I will need to be able to use it to back it up to my PC and restore the backup to my new phone when it arrives.)

I've messed with accessibility features to enable voice control and overlay a numbered grid over the screen to tell where to tap. I've done this in the past when my screen was completely non-responsive, and I can control my phone just fine with this method. However, the ghost touches are still opening apps, typing on the keyboard, etc., and when they happen while I'm trying to use VoiceControl, the phone seems to prioritize the physical tap(s) over what I'm telling it to tap with Voice Control, making for a very frustrating experience.

I tried increasing the "Hold to Tap" to .40 seconds and turning on the "Ignore Repeat" feature at the lowest setting (.10 seconds). While this has improved it somewhat, it hasn't resolved it completely. I'm sure there has to be a way to turn off touch input completely, no?

Guided access is not an option as I can only disable part of the screen within apps, and I need to disable part (or all, but just the bottom half would be great) of the screen COMPLETELY. Since this is possible with Guided Access, I know the phone is capable of ignoring touch input in certain areas, but I cannot figure out how to implement it outside of the Guided Access feature, and have been unable to find anything online.

Any advice on how to mitigate this issue would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
