Songs on the iPhone are muted approximately every fifth song.

If I play songs on the iphone with Apple music, either direct, or via AirPods, or via CarPlay (wired & Bluetooth), It plays ok, but about every 5th song (approximately) is muted. That is, it is playing, but there is no sound.

The only way to fix it, is to skip to the next track and then immediately skip back and the song plays ok.

I have updated iOS 3 times now and it never gets fixed. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max with the latest iOS.

Does anyone else have this issue and do they know how to fix it.
