How can I disable photo info on iPhone 15?

Hi. see this post:

To Disable the Apple Photo App Bottom Inf… - Apple Community

It has an answer that did not answer the question but was seeking more info. I would like an answer. That photo info takes up 1/2 of the screen when it pops up, which it does anytime it wants, so I have to mess around with clicking different places on the photo to get that info to go down so I can see my full photo. I don’t need that info and I don’t want it. And here’s a photo of it. How do I turn it off. I have an iPhone 15

As léonie said, to remove the Info Window from the screen as you've shown it, just tap the (i) info button that's highlighted in blue. That toggles the Info Window on and off.

The one that gets me (and maybe you) is, if I'm scanning through pictures on my phone, a number of weird things happen if I accidentally slide my finger in a funny (to Photos) direction. If I tap instead of slide (a very tiny difference) then I get the "film roll" view with buttons for editing, etc-- I tap again to go back to scanning mode. So I've learned to do an exaggerated slide across the screen instead of a quick slide that can be interpreted as a tap.

Also, If I slide slightly up rather than across, I get the Info Window-- sliding down makes it go away. But this still gets me, sometimes.
