Refund request for unintended subscription

On May 19th this year, the free trial of an app I was using expired, which triggered an automatic renewal. I cancelled the subscription and requested a refund on the same day, and the refund was approved. However, the money has not yet been credited back to my account.

I used a debit card for the payment, and based on what I’ve seen in several YouTube videos, refunds to debit cards can take up to 30 days or more to reflect. The issue now is that the card I used was compromised, so I had to replace it with a new card, although the bank account itself remains the same.

My questions are:

  1. Will the refund still be processed to the same account even though the card has changed?
  2. Do I need to contact Apple about this situation?
  3. If so, how can I reach them, especially since I can’t find the right category for this issue in Apple Support?

Apple Support hasn’t been very helpful so far, and I’m not sure how to proceed.
