Question regarding AppleCare+ international coverage for Apple Watch

If the device requires service while I am in a different country, can I use the AppleCare+ coverage at a local Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider? Specifically, I want to know if the global repair coverage applies to the Apple Watch, or if service is restricted to the country of purchase.

Service is restricted to the country of purchase, it is not an international warranty. Now service providers outside of your country of purchase may make exceptions for small repairs, but you cannot guarantee it nor should rely on it as it depends on if they have your region’s parts and manuals on hand. Anything more will require you go back to the original country of purchase.
