Siri not adding items to grocery list from HomePod to iPhone 16 Pro Max

I've synced the Apple Home apps on iPad and iPhone (I noticed they were out of sync). A software update on HomePod was done today. Both devices are using the same network. I've restarted/reset my phone and the HomePod. "Personal Requests" are enabled and now synced. Bluetooth/Wifi are enabled on iPad/phone. The iCloud key chain is enabled on all devices. I'm using the same Apple account for all devices. Our Wifi signal has three bars indicating a strong signal. Both devices have sufficient iCloud storage space.

I've spent all day trying to figure this out and will appreciate any questions to clarify my conundrum an/or suggestions.

Thanks for replying to my issue. I ended up having to reset my NEW iPhone 16 Pro Max (as I had ATT transfer all of my data from my old to my new phone). The Home Pod Siri kept telling me she couldn't detect my phone. When the Apple mini pod said the very same thing, I figured the issue wasn't the home devices but with my phone. After I reset my phone, Siri began adding items to my grocery list. There was an obvious hiccup somewhere in the ATT data transfer.
