We both are iOS 18.5 and my girlfriend’s download photo from share photo albums show the time you photo it and mine only show the time you download it

Who actually took the photo?
This all really depends on how you transferred the pictures. Some methods, like many email systems, strip the metadata from the transferred picture to preserve the privacy of the sender. Transferring through computers or web sites or off-site storage can also alter the metadata, and even modify the resolution and size of the picture file.
Using the iPhone "Share" routine, a sender can choose "Options"
that will let them remove certain metadata before the picture is transferred.
I usually turn everything on and use AirDrop. What are you guys doing, exactly?
I guess my question is where are you seeing the correct photo time? Is it the person that takes the photo, or the person that is looking at the photo in the album? Who created the folder that was eventually shared?

when I share photos to the album , my girlfriend download it is the time I photo it. But when my girlfriend share photos, I download it is the time she upload it

Is there not more metadata tied to the photo via camera hardware serial numbers with reference to IMEi?
