No double-sided print option on iPad for certain docs

I have iPad (18.5), Chrome (134.0.6998.33), and a new wireless HP ENVY Inspire 7255e printer. I am always able to double-side print 2 or more consecutive Chrome webpages via my iPad. But it doesn't give me the double-sided print option for certain other files, or from certain other apps. Two examples are: (1) when I try to double-side print two or more photos selected in Apple Photos, Gallery, and Camera; and, (2) when I try to double-side print two or more files embedded in (not attached to) a Gmail message. Doesn't seem to matter if I use AirPrint or "Print with HP Smart". BTW, it seems to me I might have been able to double-side print most of the time prior to my new HP printer's installation a month ago?! AI Overview in Google Search is great, but it is giving me contradictory solutions this time - depending how I ask the question! Please advise if there is a global working solution that would always provide a double-sided print option regardless of the type or source of file(s) I need to print? Thanks in advance.

Due to very high ink density, you may be unable to print double-side documents for the reasons already outlined by Lawrence Finch.

However, after a page has been allowed to thoroughly dry (for photos, this may be many minutes), you might consider manually flipping and reinserting the already printed page back into the printer's input paper tray - and then print on the reverse side.

Be aware that (a) some photo-quality paper has an optimum side for printing. Also consider that the paper fibres may already be saturated from ink deposited on the original print-side; this may lead to reduced print quality.
