Browser page not loading on Safari

I have been experiencing this issue for the last month or so. Anytime I close my mac and reopen it after few hours, this occurs. Even though I am connected to the wifi and it looks like the connection is working, nothing loads up. I am using Google Chrome. Same happens with Safari. I always have to restart the computer for the issue to stop, but then when I close mac and reopen again after some time same thing happens. I have Macbook Air M1.

Thanks for any tips!

I understand browser pages don't load after letting your Mac sleep for a few hours, and getting them to load again requires a reboot.

First please review all the suggestions in If Safari doesn't open a page or work as expected on Mac. Do not omit any steps despite the fact many of them appear to be arbitrary or trivial (because they are).

If you remain unable to resolve the problem please determine if the same behavior occurs in "Safe Mode": Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support. Then, restart your Mac normally and repeat.

Please limit your troubleshooting to Safari because I can't help with Google.
