I cannot receive mail on my IPad but can on my IPhone. I want to see the password entered on the phone to make sure it is the same as on the IPad. I cannot see a way of changing the black dot ⚫️ to the letters/characters used. How do I find out the password? (The one I recently changed for BTMail doesn’t work)

Did you already try to open the Apple Passwords App on your iPhone and search for your Mail account?

The problem was with both but I just done another couple of test “sends” from each device and they’ve been received on the other. Something “good” has happened with the authentication process overnight. Only the original Email I was trying to send from my IPad remains in the Outbox (I’ve had this before - little yellow warning triangle. Something to do with syncing that never happens!) Anyway, although I can’t see behind the ⚫️ ⚫️ ⚫️⚫️… at least I know it’s the correct password and appreciate the assistance. I wish there was an easy way to bring it up though and will continue researching for a solution! 😃
I believe I did but couldn’t see a “Mail” App listed (the one with white envelope on blue background). The other place I looked was in the Passwords App where I found the one for my BT A/C.
Is this your Apple Mail account, or a 3rd party mail account?
If a 3rd Party mail account, you might be able to log into your Webmail and check your settings.
