Where can I now find a "snuglet" for my MacBooks (Pro & Air)?

This older post asked this same question

Magsafe adapter - Apple Community

Several answers were provided but all links now lead nowhere useful. The Newertech site doesn't help

I ordered a pair back in 2019 from Amazon but that site too no longer lists this item.

Is there a 2025 solution for the issue of the Magsafe connector becoming easily disconnected?

Some of the the devices you posted were MagSafe 1 to MagSafe-2 adapters, that allowed old power adapters to be used with MagSafe-2 devices.

The MagSafe used on modern MacBook Pro is MagSafe-3, and there is NO adapters from older adapters to MagSafe-3, because the handshake protocol is different.

However, as IdrisSeabright observed, most Macs that feature MagSafe-3 can also be charged with the right USB-C cords, BUT: Choose carefully!

Standard USB-C cord can charge at 60 Watts power level, whcih may not be quite enough for a 15-in or larger MacBook Pro. Premium USB-C cable may be rated for 100 Watts power, and super-premium cables for up to 240 Watts power.

Isn't that the whole point of the magnetic connector? It's supposed to detach easily so that your computer doesn't get dragged off onto the floor if the cable is pulled on?

I've never heard of a "snuglet" before so, unfortunately, I can't give you suggestions on where to find something like that.

Thanks for clearing that up.

At least one of the links in the OLD discussion posted was a MagSafe-1 to MagSafe-2 adapter available from OWC/MacSales, currently out-of-stock

Never having experienced any shortcomings of MagSafe connections of any kind, I assumed ALL were those MgSafe 1 to magSafe-2 adapters.

I stand corrected again.

My hat's off to you again!
