Adjusting for intersample clipping from ATV upsampling Apple Music

I would like to lower the software volume (versus amp volume) 3 dB to ensure that no intersample clipping occurs because, Apple TV Apple Music upsamples any 16/44 recordings to 24/48 (downsample is fine), which increases intersample clipping.

I am referring to playing from the AppleTV 4K Apple Music app via HDMI to AVR stereo, not Airplay.

When will Apple Music for Apple TV update to include Hi-Res Lossless Audio? Lossless audio was launched in 2021, yet the current support is limited to 24-bit/48kHz. It seems like a missed opportunity to not update to 24-bit/192kHz as I imagine many have Apple TV as part of a Hi-fi system set-up. My Apple TV 4k isn't giving me the option for lossless audio. My Apple TV 4k has no option to select lossless audio for music. I'm in settings/apps/music and it's not there. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Model #A1625 (32GB)

Apple Music sample rate switching This may fall on deaf ears as I feel as though this brought up a couple of times in the past, but does Apple have plans in a future OS update to switch audio sample rates automatically based on the music being played from the default 44.1kHz without having to use the built-in "Audio MIDI Setup" app?
