Since upgrading my Mac Studio to Sequoia 15.5, when using the Mail app, I try to delete 1 email message and most of the time, but not all the time, 2 or more messages are deleted. Sometime I can undelete them, but not always. I looked at mouse click acceleration but have not found a solution.
Any ideas? This is quite annoying!

I spent quite a bit of time with Apple Support and we deduced that the problem was my mouse. New mouse arrives tomorrow and I will test it to see if the problem persists.
New mouse solved my problem.
Here's the behavior I experience: I open an email, see that I want to delete it, hit delete, both it and the previous one (the next one down my list) is deleted. I decided this morning to delete my mail.plist file to see if that fixes the problem. No, it just changed it. Now when I delete an email, both it and the next (meaning higher up in my list) email are deleted. So the direction of the delete changed.
When searching info about this problem, I came across people who have had the same problem as early as 2008. None of the things I found had any sort of answer.
Surely, there is a way to resolve what must be a bug.
