Private browsing does not load on my iPhone Safari app

When I go to private browsing on safari, it will act like its loading but the screen will stay white. But, if I put in a specific url to a site it loads that fine and i can see the screen. My default browser is google so I tried to change it to bing and back to google but that did not work.

Safari private viewing mode I opened a website in private viewing mode. I then reverted back to normal when I opened subsequent websites. Since then, when I open first open safari after turning on my iPad it always opens in private mode. I then have to change it to normal, and from then on it’s fine. Safari When I search something in safari it automatically goes to google I do know that you can change your default browser in settings > safari > browser I am running iOS 16 and safari won’t show up as an option can anyone help me?

safari needs to be on private iPad Pro 4th gen, a couple of months old. Certain sites (not all) won't open (blank window) in Safari in normal mode. I can open the sites in private mode, but I want to be in normal mode. I don't have this problem on my old iPad or my wife's iPad Pro 2nd gen. Similarly, it I try to run a twitter video on twitter.com, it plays the first few seconds, then hangs up. In private mode, no problem.
