In-process emails being deleted on Yahoo mail

I have been plagued with this problem for months and need to figure out what is happening.

I use a free Yahoo mail account. While I compose an email, and this has happened several times, strange things happen.

While I am typing, the cursor will suddenly go to another part of the message or to the top "search" box.

Also, I will be typing and suddenly everything disappears and a box appears that says "No Message Selected" and informs me that the drafts folder is empty.

The absolute worst is when I will be finished with an email, see a mistake, and start to correct is (this morning, I wanted to change "directors" to "director") and all I do is press the backspace key and the entire message deletes. Not back to drafts, not even to trash, it just disappears.

I would appreciate help/ advice.
