Youtube favourites not working with Safari

Hi everyone,

I using a 13” 2025 iPad with iOS 18.5.

I have a problem ‘favouriting’ or bookmarking YouTube videos on Safari 

When I choose ‘add to favourite’ or add to bookmark the link points to a YouTube video I have saved much earlier. If I continue to favourite other videos it always brings up this earlier video.

I have tried clearing safaris cache but the problem persists.

This only happens with YouTube as other sites seem to work fine.

My iPhone and older iPad is also connected to the same iCloud account and all work fine with Safari favourites. Has anyone experienced a similar problem ?
