The camera control button of my iphone 16 pro max is getting unusually hot since last 2-3 days . Battery also draining out and unable to recharge the the phone due to excess temperature of phone . I m in India and phone is not exposed to any sort of high temperature environment.

Try a Force Restart of the iPhone. Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
You should also check your Settings>Battery, then scroll down and check to see what app or apps are using the highest percentage of battery on the device. Something may be stuck, but the Force Restart should take care of that.
Battery usage not unusual for any application , yet the camera control button getting heated
Same here from yesterday it started happening…from what i have found it may be a software issue which can be fixed by reinstalling ios which i am gonna do today or tomorrow..so fingers crossed for that…But if its hardware then i am doomed… Have u gotten any solution?

I tried software reset but no use . I got the hardware repair done , now its working fine . Warranty period has helped me
