Re-entering password for Yahoo Mail on iPhone

My password for my yahoo email stored on my iphone was deleted and it is asking me to re-enter it now to access and mail again on my phone. i don

Under mail >>> accounts. It is asking me to re-enter my password which I don’t know, why did it delete suddenly?

I don’t remember one of my security questions, it’s a very old account that doesn’t have two factor set up. So I already tired to reset it though yahoo. I was asking to see if someone knew why my password deleted from my iPhone and maybe there was a was to retrieve it on the cloud?
