Logic Pro 11.2 - Quick Sampler tutorial - Can't hear the sample

Hi. Launch Logic. Select New from Template. Choose Tutorials. Select Quick Sampler.

Go through steps:

At Step 2, listen to sample, piano chord stab.

At Step 5, hear nothing when I play my midi keys.

And, scene.

So, at 2, I know that the audio works as I hear the sample through my monitors. What happens to cause the sample not to play, at 5? Even though when I play a key, I can see the playhead scroll across the waveform of the audio sample in the "optimized" sampler.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
