Uncredited $49.99 refund from Apple on my bank account

Hello, I received a $49.99 debit from your bank account, which resulted in me contacting you and receiving a response that the amount had been refunded. When I called the bank, they said they had not applied for a refund, which resulted in the amount not being credited to me.
