Still getting emails with @me.com address only on my iPad
Origionally, XXXXXX@me.com was my Apple mail account. Later this was ignored in the transition to @icloud.com addressing - but I still get emails addressed to the @me.com on my iPad (iOs v 17.7.8) and only on the iPad. My iMac and iPhone do not show the @me.com address.
Going thru the Settings-Mail-Email& Phone Numbers menus on the iPad the xxxxxx@me.com address appears and Edit produces a message saying "Your iCloud email address cannot be removed.....use iMessage or Facetime settings" Both these apps are set with the correct telephone and @icloud addresses - and @me.com isn't to be found there.
Does anyone have an idea on how to exterminate the xxxxxx@me.com mail address?
