How to copy Ipad notes to a pc using iTunes

I have a large number of notes on an old Ipad and would like to copy them to a pc.

I've lost access to icloud (backups) because I didn't reply correctly to two questions despite being logged on.

I thought I would copy them using iTunes but cannot locate the device symbol (when Ipad is connected to the pc).

I don't think the Ipad can access email.

I'm thinking iTunes is the easiest option. Downloading software may be another option.

Thanks in advance.

iTunes can't actually get Notes from the iPad since they don't technically reside on it, and the iPad does not expose the Notes container to iTunes to access the stored notes from.

You'll need a 3rd party app that can do this. Something like iMazing or EaseUS.
