I have songs on my iPhone. Need to get them all on to my mac. When i select sync, it says it will delete all music from iphone. What should i do

Do not Sync!. Syncing will delete everything from the iPhone that does not exist in the Mac's library.
You'll need a 3rd party app like iMazing or iExplorer to extract the music from the iPhone and recreate the library on the computer.
