POP3 Mailbox Full: How to purge deleted emails from the server?

I'm not receiving emails from my POP3 mailbox because it is full. I have deleted all unwanted emails and emptied the Bin folder on my device but I believe that with a POP3 system, the emails all remain on the server. This is causing a bounce response to go out to anyone that sends me an email, with an "Undeliverable - Mailbox Full" message. How can I purge my deleted emails from the server so that it will start allowing me to receive my emails again?

POP3 normal configuration downloads email from the server to your computer then deletes the email from the server. IMAP protocol keeps a copy of the email on the server. If your email server is full, log into your email provider's site through their webpage and delete the email from their server.
