i am really unsure on the ios26 it has completely and utterly drained my battery 3x worse than it was before
In the first 48 hours or so after a major update, your phone is doing a lot of background indexing and housekeeping. The battery will drain more quickly and it will get warmer. This is normal. It should settle down soon.
i hate the design of it and i hate that my keyboard has changed
You should let Apple know your thoughts here:
i want it to go back to the ios18 but my iphone is not fully set up properly is there any other way to fix this problem because i need another way to fix it asap please and thankyou. yours sincerely
It is not possible to go back to iOS 18. I don't know what you mean when you say, "my iPhone is not fully set up properly."

it makes my phone black out and lag and it won’t let me open apple music
First, try a Force Restart:
If that does not solve then problem, then you will need to schedule an appointment at the Apple Store. It should be easy to reproduce a problem that makes your screen black out or not being able to open Apple Music.

You don't, downgrading is not supported.
You can't now that beta tesing is over.
You are correct.
It does not work because you cannot downgrade the iOS once it has been released.

That will happen when Automatic Updates is turned on at Settings > General > Software Updates. Once updated, there is not a way to downgrade.

My iPhone has been updated to iOS 26.0.1, it has been so hard for me to use at 64 years old. I want to go back to the old system. I can't use a lot of the features.
You can't go back.
No, it doesn't work that way.
Sorry, downgrading the operating system is not supported

You can't.
If you are referring to the official version that was just released (NOT the beta version), then the answer is this - once you update, you cannot revert back to an older version. Apple does not support that.
Perhaps this link will help you better understand iOS 26. If you have specific questions about the features, please post them in a new thread so we may try to help.

If you mean downgrading didn't work, you're right. You can't downgrade.

This is a user-to-user forum. No one here can change anything back. Apple doesn't read here for feedback or suggestions. You can, however, let them know your thoughts here:
