Partner joined my Family Plan Storage but still has her iCloud+ subscription

Hi community,


my partner has joined my 2TB iCloud+ Family Storage.

I see her consuming my storage. (see first screenshot from my iPhone)

I'm the "Organizer"/Owner - however you want to name it.


But her own 2TB iCloud+ subscription is still active.

When she wants to cancel it she gets below pop up on 2nd screenshot below.

It says that her subscription cancellation would impact the family whilst my subscription is used.


I was reading that her subscription should cancel automatically after joining my family plan.

How many days/weeks should that automatic cancellation and refund take until completed?

As this here is rather confusing now.
