Issues with not receiving rewards due to technicality?
Apple Card sent a promotion in April where if you used a link through Booking.com, you received 5% cashback. I only received 1% cash back so I called Goldman Sachs. They said because I typed my Apple CC number in versus using the Apple Pay icon (I really don't remember which I did) that I wouldn't receive the 5%. They said I could cancel and rebook through Booking.com to remedy it (even though the promotion has now expired) but our vacation is Sunday and I don't want to mess it up.
Should I go in for round 2 with customer service? It seems a bit manipulative to deny the promotion, sent from Apple Card with their logo at the top (not Apple Pay), because I didn't click on "Apple Pay," which deducts from my Apple Card.
