How to sync apple music with ipod nano 5 in 2025?

In the past, I always used iTunes to sync music (even though this app was incredibly frustrating to use). Just now, when I took out the iPod I used in high school and plugged it into my computer, I found that the whole world had changed. I need to connect my iPod through something called "Apple Devices," but I can never sync music to my Nano 5 the way I could with iTunes. So, in 2025, how can I put music onto my Nano 5?

On a Windows computer, you can use Apple Devices, or iTunes depending on what you have installed.

If you want to continue to use iTunes, you will need to remove any and all of newer Apple Apps you may have. This includes TV, Music and yes, the Devices App.

If you want to use the Devices App, then you need to install it from the Microsoft Store, and it technically works the same way as iTunes.
