Uninstall NordVPN and all other third party apps that claim to protect, clean, manage, etc. Such third party apps use system resources while providing no benefit. And, they may cause problems.

Your issue is probably best addressed by contacting Nord support.

To add to the chorus, unless you have a specific, required need to use a VPN for financial, educational or employment reason, then it's best not to install that sort of software on the Mac. Marketing will tell you the need is real, but research won't support that.

Yes, sometimes we what to access things that are Regional Specific and a VPN maybe the only workaround

Though we do run up against other matters that preclude access.

They may not be what one believes they are doing for the computer and what they actually are doing behind the scenes
