I want to transfer music from music app on Mac to a usb drive for use in car. All the music is mine from my cds but I believe are in iCloud as have iTunes Match. Can I download the songs to my Mac then drag it to usb drive

Transferring Files from iCloud to Mac to USB:
You can most certainly do so on a computer. Not so certain about a flash drive. If they are in iCloud, then you can export all of iCloud to the flash drive. Simply select the flash drive as the output source. Then, search for these files by file extension (mp3)using Finder on a Mac or Windows Explorer on a PC.
