Sometimes the bookmarks are just hidden, so try going to Safari > Bookmarks > Edit Bookmarks and check all folders, including Favorites and any custom ones.
If that doesn’t work, fully quit Safari, restart your Mac, then reopen Safari — this can fix minor display glitches. Also, check your iCloud sync: go to System Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Show More Apps > Safari, turn it off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. If you have another Apple device, check if the bookmarks are still there — they should sync back once iCloud refreshes.
