How do I remove grey "software update" notification pop up from my iPad screen?

the grey notification that pops up in the middle of the screen wont go away, its the “software update: install now, remind me later” notification, the buttons wont press so it wont go away, i cant hard power off or press any button on my screen. i tried to get my ipad to just die but the battery wont go down either. i cant use touch id to log in or anything. my ipad has become completely unusable as of now. this has been an issue for at least 12 hours.

To fix your issue plug your iPad into a computer with iTunes installed (Mac or windows) and update it. Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes - Apple Support

if your dont have access to a computer you can bring it into an apple store and they will update it for you.

Here is what to do: If your iPad won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

If with Face ID, hold the third button press until the Apple logo shows, continuing to hold past any sliders that might appear.

If with Touch ID, hold both buttons until the Apple logo appears, continuing to hold past any sliders that might appear.
