Unable to cast music from my Android phone to Apple TV

I can't cast music from my Android phone. My Apple tv doesn't show up as an option. I tried directly to my receiver, it never loads. Casting to a Google tv device cuts out every few seconds. Spotify works fine. I'd like to be able to have control from other areas of my house.

Casting is a Google only protocol and not directly supported by Apple devices.

To stream music to an Apple TV you would use AirPlay. The Apple Music app on Android does not support Airplay.

3rd party apps such as AirMusic can let you Airplay to Airplay compatible devices such as the Apple TV.
