How can I use a widget to turn on my VPN with Shortcuts?

The outcome I’m hoping to achieve is that when I open a certain App, VPN will be turned on automatically. Thing is, the VPN I’m using doesn’t have the Shortcut quick action (or one in the control centre) but a widget for quick turn-on/off. Currently I’m using a Shortcut where it asks me to open the VPN App when I open certain Apps (that I need VPN for) and I turn it on and go back to the previous App by myself.

So, since it has a widget, I’m wondering if it’s possible to make use of it for a quicker turn-on.

Thanks in advance.

一个名字 ~ I don't know of a way Shortcuts app can make use of a widget. You haven't specifically mentioned the Set VPN action — so I wonder if your "App Is Opened" automation could include that action twice with Set On Demand and then with Connect:
