What is the message you get if you attempt to install it from the App Store?

Make sure your iPhone is updated to the highest iOS an iPhone 7 can run which is iOS 15.8.4. Then open the App Store, look for Facebook and download it. If you can't do that, you'll get an error message, so come back and tell us what the error message is.

And then... after you tap review and follow the instructions?

You need to do what KiltedTim told you to do. I had a feeling you haven't used the App or iTunes Store and in order to use them, you MUST have a valid payment on your Apple Account.

You didn't answer my question about what error message you get. Possible issues could be:

1. You don't have a valid payment on your phone issues in the country of the App Store you are using
2. Downloading Apps could be disabled in Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions> iTunes & App Store Purchases > Installing Apps must be Allow

OK... and did you do what the message instructed you to do?

You need to register a payment method in the App Store, even if the app is free.

• What happens when you try downloading the app from the App Store?
