How do I dispute and get a refund for a fraudulent Apple Pay transaction?

I was scammed 400$ by paying someone on messages and a day later found out they are a very smart scammer. Now day two and I'm being thrown in loops by apple support and no one is picking up the phone on the other end of apple support! I need help getting this disputed and refunded because through apple wallet wont let me report and dispute the said "transaction" and police cant help overseas scammers, but also online like through apple support I can,t get a hold of anyone on the phone nor website!

I suspect your money is gone, just like any cash transaction. Apple specifically states that you should never send money to someone you do not know and those transactions are private transactions between 2 parties. That is true for any other Cash app or transaction.

  • Apple Cash person-to-person payments are like any other private transaction between two people, so only send and receive money with people you know.

I assume you were using Apple Cash since Apple Pay is not an account and you said that money was sent through Messages. Apple Cash is managed by Green Dot Bank and their contact number is here:
