How to resolve 'The job could not be submitted because the cluster could not be found' error when exporting to Condensor?

Since updating the condenser to latest version I can't export a project to it. I get an error:

The job could not be submitted because the cluster could not be found.

How do I stop this error?

I suppose you meant Compressor.

First, I suggest using an alternative (and IMO better) way:

Instead of "Send to Compressor", you can create a new Destination in Final Cut Pro, choose "Compressor Settings" and select the desired export setting. This is usually faster than "Send to Compressor", and avoid even having to open Compressor directly.

Second, as a first step towards hopefully fixing the issue: what do you see under Compressor->Settings?

(particularly under "Shared Computers")

I tried creating a new destination in FCP with Compressor Settings and it won't use them. It shows a red exclamation point with the word "error" in the bottom left hand corner of the window.

Hover the cursor near the red exclamation point, and it should provide some explanation of what that error is.

Can you use the same export setting from inside Compressor, if you drag some video file to convert?

You may also try deleting Compressor preferences.

To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting the application and click Delete Custom Settings. This will revert the preferences to their defaults.

(It does NOT delete your custom export settings).
