iTunes movies rentals won't play, bought movies play

I rented Clown in a Cornfield, The Amateur and Reign of Fire this morning. I rented The Surfer last Friday. None of them play. I bought The Surfer this afternoon and it plays just fine. For some unknown reason, I am no longer able to watch rental videos through iTunes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, signing out and then back in, deauthorize and then reauthorizing, clearing the cache of iTunes and my PC and trying to download the Standard version of the movie. I have tried it on another laptop with no difference in results. I even tried switching to the Miniplayer. In the Miniplayer window I got one frame of the movies but it would not play. In normal iTunes I get a black screen with a scrolling timer but no picture or audio. This issue started last week. Up until then I had no issues and made no changes to my computer. This issue seems to only be with rentals. I just bought a movie and it plays. Also, I tried to stream it through iTunes but that doesn't work either. Anybody have any ideas or suffer the same issue?
