Chrome Crashing on Macbook M3

Hi everyone,

I bought a new Macbook M3 a year ago, and I've been using it pretty often for work/school. I don't run anything much besides Chrome on it, but recently, I've encountered issues where my Chrome windows would close down and Chrome would crash every couple of minutes. Additionally, the device would get really hot running simple online tasks.

I've tried restarting the Macbook, deleting and reinstalling Google Chrome, checking extensions, etc. but Chrome keeps on crashing every few minutes. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?
