Unable to activate Microsoft subscription (bought via Apple)

Hi,


I have an annual third party subscription for Microsoft via Apple. While it had been working fine, this time it has been complaining me that the payment has been made, but it cannot activate the subscription and is asking me to "Try again". Does anyone have any resolution for this?

To close this thread with an update so that it can help others in our community -


Was able to resolve this issue after I contacted the Microsoft Support. This seems to be an issue with the subscriptions of Microsoft via Apple.


The following statement is from them -

We’ve received multiple reports about this issue and have confirmed with our supervisor that it is a known bug (ID: 4948925) currently affecting users globally!

Hi Rudegar, thanks for the link. I did try but didn't succeed. But it lead to me to see a new error message - Your App Store purchase has already been associated with a different Microsoft Account. Error Code: 1303


This is just my assumption - I did buy a Xbox Game Pass directly from them, wondering if that is a cause. Well, technically they both must be individual subscriptions, so may be I am wrong.
