Unable to connect my iPad Wi-Fi with iPhone via Control Center Wi-Fi menu

I have iPhone 13 Pro Max and an iPad 10gen. Both are updates to latest softwares. I am unable to connect my iPad WiFi with my iPhone via control center WiFi menu. My iPad doesn’t show my iPhone there (can be seen in image). But if I go through setiongs and WiFi, it is visible (see the 2nd image).

I can see other iPhones in control center WiFi menu but mine.

Both are running latest softwares. Both are using same iCloud. I have restarted both many times but in vein .

kindly provide help as WiFi connecting via settings is long and hectic.
