People can’t text my iCloud email anymore

Hi! People always used to be able to text me using my iCloud email address instead of my phone number, but now I’m not receiving texts through my email anymore. Contacts are also reporting that the message is green (not an iMessage) when they try to text me using my email. You can see in the picture that I have both my phone number and iCloud email saved under my own contact, but if I try to text myself using my email address, it’s green and I don’t receive the message whereas my phone number is an iMessage. What happened? Shouldn’t my iCloud email address always be blue and an iMessage for other Apple users? I haven’t made any changes to my account. I’m just wondering how I can fix this since some people only text me using my iCloud email and not my phone number. Thank you for any suggestions!
